SUCK IT UP

No matter what you do, you are never going to please everyone. No matter how hard you try, you cannot make everybody like you. Instead of being your own enemy, be your own greatest supporter. If you spend your time thinking about things, re-thinking them over and over again, creating different scenes in your head that would never happen and dwell on the past, it will surely in time turn you insane. It is better to live in the present and not worry about the future.

Be spontaneous. Be imaginative. Be creative. Be yourself. Don’t let anyone else define who you are, you can be original in your own special way. I don’t mean to make you sound like you have special needs or anything, but if you think about it, we all have our own special needs. Some need love and attention, others require people to laugh at their jokes whilst another may just need to call you at 4am.

• When it all comes right down to it, all we need is each other, even if you’re the type who hates everyone you come in contact with, with a raging passion, with out anyone, you wouldn’t have that quality.
• You should always value yourself and never let anyone tell you you’re worthless. If you think you are useless then why are you here? You may not have a purpose but you may give purpose to others who value you.
• I know not everybody can get along with everybody, but never take any shit from anybody, not even yourself.
• If there’s a problem, nip it in the bud quickly. Don’t let it seed and grow into something bigger and uncontrollable.
• Never go to bed angry, stay up and fight. If you’re fighting with someone who is worth fighting for, sort it out there and then.
• You won’t realise how great something or someone is until you lose it.
• Never give up on yourself, even when times are hard. Keep trying and you’ll pull through.
• Talk about your problems, share them with your friends and family, they can help. You’ll feel a lot better.
• Always accept a compliment, it’s a way for showing you appreciate what somebody has said about you. Decline it and you basically throw the comment right back in thier face. When you enter the real world, people won’t be so eager to show this kindness of compliments and caring, in fact they’re more likely to stop you, put you down and prevent you from succeeding.
• If you want to be successful remember to always follow your heart. Follow your heart and the mind will too.
